Confused Leaders

bad leader

Who is a leader? Or how to define leadership? These are some of the questions we confront in our daily lives. But unfortunately, we come across many pseudo-leaders disguised as politicians, Generals, and CXO /managers of large and small organizations. According to Wikipedia, “Leadership is both a research area and a practical skill encompassing the ability of an individual or organization to “lead” or guide other individuals, teams, or entire organizations”.
When we look around, we will find that most of our leaders do not fit a conventional definition of leadership. They are contrary to what leaders should be. These self-declared leaders chuck their teams and organization into a deep valley of confusion & frustrations. Their intentions might be good, but their inability to lead takes its toll on team performance.
